The best laid plans of mice and men

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

I had such firm plans to write to this blog more often or as I said in the title, ‘The best laid plans of mice and men’

Such a lot has happened since I wrote last, in such a short or at least not a long time. I have had a huge energy change which has totally rearranged my life. Food has become much less of a requirement, and I spent a number of days (5) not eating at all.

Now I can tolerate small amounts of food, and the requirements of my body for foods are odd to say the least. Vegemite, one of my pet dislikes has become a daily requirement, on biscuits which taste like sawdust.

Yesterday my body ‘requested’ tomato. It took me some time to consume the scant 1/2 a tomato I had cut up on a plate, and a conversation today with a friend had me explain that now I know how babies feel when they are given new food ‘tastes’.

Still I am listening to what my body wants and honouring its requests.

Less so my husband Trevor who has had a badly infected leg and has had regular hospital visits [daily] for intravenous antibiotics, he also has to swallow numerous ‘pills’ which his system is objecting to strongly, yet he needs to take them to get well. As alternative therapists neither of us are medicine takers, and it was with great reluctance that I managed to persuade Trevor to see a doctor in the first place.

We are not anti Doctor by any means, we count  some great Doctors, and some great nurses amongst our friends, it is just a personal aversion to medications.

Susan and I  have been working hard on the Sounds from Source Academy site and we have people signing up for our complementary Silver program from around the world which is exciting, so watch out for the launch of that very soon. You can sign up at www.soundsfromsourceacademy.com and we will notify you as soon as it launches.

I will endeavour to be back soon

Its been a while

Saturday, October 11th, 2008

I realised today that more than a month has gone past since I posted to my blog, now that’s quite a while in anyone’s language, and I have only myself to blame. I had intended to on numerous occasions and given the subject of the last blog I wrote about honouring the self, I should have honoured my self by doing so.

So what has been happening in the last almost six weeks since I actually put my words onto the cyber paper as it were? So much that much of it is actually a blur to me now as the future sweeps us along with it.

Susan and I have been working on the final stages of our Sounds from Source Academy website, or at least Susan has. I personally receive the best emails from Susan with instructions to follow, and do my best to stay with the directions, and create what I am requested / instructed to do and then having completed that email it back to Susan for the hard work of loading it all onto the site.

We have run our first and are about to run our second teleconference for our Energetic Balance and Harmony practitioners, this small group of very talented ladies spent four days with me in May of this year and completed the first of the Energetic Balance and Harmony courses to be offered through Sounds from Source. They were all hand picked for their ability to think outside the square, and their abilities as Practitioners in their own right.

Trevor and I have some exciting projects happening, and I will talk more about those in the future, one of them is a new ebook that Trevor is about to launch on the reasons why we get sick and have diseases and cancer, and what can be done to reverse them. I volunteered to write the foreword for that.

I was asked to write the foreword for a set of books soon to be released by a dear friend of mine Morning Clouds who’s work I not only admire greatly, it has also been the mainstay of my practise for many years. Well worth looking out for any one in an alternative practice, or who wants to know that there is another way. Watch this space for more information.

My friend Lilian visited me from Brisbane last Sunday and we had a wonderful day out exploring the local area, Trevor and I only moved here a few months ago, so we haven’t seen a lot of the area. Lilian and I have been friends for a long time and always have lots of interesting things to talk about. We went for a tour of the local nurseries and found some wonderful garden features and Balinese gazebo’s, which give rise to plans for having one or two in the future, as well as stone carvings and some amazing pots, well and truly large enough to have contained the legendary Ali Baba and at least some of his 40 friends. My favourite was a huge round pot with Gecko’s on it, being some what fond of them as I am.

Lilian is also a Senior Sounds from Source and an Energetic Balance and Harmony practitioner.

Well that’s almost a page for today, and I make a solemn promise to myself that it will not be so long next time.

Until then

Peace Love and Light
