Tonight I did a teleconference on the Sounds from Source Academy site www.soundsfromsourceacademy.com to explain how to get the best from a Psychic reading. I started the teleconference with pondering the question of “When is a Psychic NOT a Psychic”?

Why, ? Because their is a lot of confusion around about what a psychic is or is not. Many readers are not psychic:, eg
Clairvoyant = Clear seeing, can go into a mild trance state in many instances and may see or be aware of energies around the person being read for.

Clairaudient = Clear Hearing, voices, sounds, or in my instance words not voices in my head.

Clairsentient=Clear Knowing,also called 6^th sense. A Clairsentient is an individual who perceives (as in a “sixth-sense”) by feeling or having knowledge about an object.

A good example of this extreme psychic ability is that a clairsentient is able to visualize an item without seeing an image of the specific item.. A clairsentient can read “auras” of people and objects to discover their personal histories.

As a psychic I have all 3 of the above and also what I call gut feeling, and to me being Psychic is a combination of “gifts” rather than just one. Fften some one will advertise as a psychic and may be something else, eg Clairvoyant.

Readers may use Psychometry which is a form of extra sensory perception or ESP in which a Psychic  or a sensitive person is said to be able to obtain information about an individual through what can be termed ‘paranormal means’ by making physical contact with an object that belongs to them or to some one else.

For example, a person who has psychometric abilities – also known as a psychometrist – can hold a piece of jewelry and be able to tell something about the history of that jewelry, about the person who owned it, or about the experiences that person had while in the possession of that piece .

The psychic may be able to sense what the person was like, what they did and even how they died. Perhaps most important, the psychic can sense how the person felt – the emotions of the person at a particular time. Emotions especially, it seems, are most strongly “recorded” in the object.

The psychic may not be able to do this with all objects at all times and, as with all psychic abilities, accuracy can vary, but the ability to do so  is available to the psychic.

An example of this was a bracelet belonging to a fellow student on a course many years ago, and as Alicia’s bracelet was handed around, along with other the jewelry of other people who were also on the course there were mixed reactions to it. Further investigation came up with the pretty object having been ‘programmed with negativity or cursed’, and went a great deal of the way towards explaining why this attractive young lady had been experiencing ‘odd’ situations in her life since the departure of a ‘boyfriend some time earlier.

Many ‘readers’ use tools eg Tarot cards, Runes, Angel Cards, and the like. These are often to clarify the situation for you, or to guide the reader in the right direction, as you choose the cards which resonate with you..

The only tool I have ever used is a crystal ball, and seriously, I see just as well without it with my eyes closed. I gave up working as a practicing psychic some time ago as I prefer to work with healing and the majority of people who came for readings over the years wanted  to know if they are going to “marry tall dark and handsome, win tattslotto and have 3 kids stuff” so not particularly enthralling as far as I was concerned.

So if you are going to go for a “reading”,  psychic or otherwise then I suggest that you “check out” the credentials of the person you are going to before you spend your money on some thing that may not be what you thought you were going to get.

Is the Psychic really a Psychic??
